I can't get the Dropbox app to load on my Macbook Air M2?

No way to open settings. Clicking Dropbox just opens the Dropbox folder in Finder It appears to be syncing something maybe, but I have no control over it Please fix, this is terrible

Hi Nancy 

I'm not certain this is exactly the same situation, as I can open settings without a problem.

I click on the same Dropbox shortcut I've had for years, this is the current (wrong) path and the current (wrong) thumbnail. 
Changing it manually doesn't help, as it reverts back to this.
