Cannot start Dropbox app on Macbook
Hi,
I installed Dropbox app on Macbook Pro, system Ventura 13.2.1 (22D68), but it cannot start. I have already tried to reinstall it, but still did not work.
And the error file:

- It mysteriously solved. When I restarted my mac after an update and gave it another try, it suddenly popped out log-in issues which showed that dropbox identified my mac as a new device each time I tried to log in, so I cannot log in due to exceeding the maximum number of devices I was allowed. After I removed my login devices, it finally start.

I have this error problem too. Can't find how to contact dropbox support team, but happy for them to contact me on my registered email. I can then send over the longform error code. Thank you in advance!

Hey there, danclarkis, happy Monday!
Do you get the same error message as the OP? If not, could you attach the start-up error code back here, to you reply?
Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

I couldn't get my Dropbox app to work. Keep showing the same error prompt as below: Does anybody know how to fix it? I have used the "fix permission error', yet, it still won't allow me to access Dropbox app.

Hi danclarkis, could you try reinstalling the app, without uninstalling it first, by using this link, and let me know how it goes!

Hi ValGols and danclarkis!
Can you please follow the steps below, as well, and let me know if they make any difference at all?
- Click the Dropbox icon in the menu bar at the top of your screen.
- Click your profile picture or initials in the upper right of the window that appears.
- Click Quit.
- Open a new Finder window.
- Click Applications.
- Double-click the Dropbox icon.

Hi Nancy There's no dropbox icon in the menubar because I can't start it. When I try to get dropbox going, there's a grey icon (but which is not properly usable to select menu actions) for a minute . But that disappears as soon as dropbox comes up with the error code saying 'unable to start'.
