I can't use Dropbox with Brave now

Hello,

 

I usually use Brave browser. Since 2 weeks ago or so, everytime I log in, suddenly I get a message from the browser saying "STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION". For a split of a second I can see everything fine, but then the message appears. Previously it was perfect. I never had a problem and I've changed nothing in the browser configuration.

 

It doesn't work signing in via a private window.

 

I do not have any other browser, as it is an old laptop and it was the last browser that worked properly on the web (cannot use Firefox or Chrome).

    The site should be visible on the latest version of Brave, as I've just tested it on my device.

    Could you check that there isn't any plugin or extension on the browser which could be preventing the connection to the site?

    If you're using an older laptop, then it's possible that the browser itself is too old and is no longer compatible with the Dropbox site.

    Keep me updated with any progress!

    These days I tried everything you said. Finally, it was the update of Brave. I had a bit older version. I was afraid to install it, as my laptop could stop working. However, I was lucky (this time).

    Okay, so just to check, updating the browser to the latest version worked for you?

    Are you able to access the site and all the pages normally?

    Yes, you are right. It was enough updating the browser. Everything in the webpage works fine now.

    Any other option did not work. It seems there is something new in the web that is not compatible anymore with previous versions of Brave (v 1.23.71)
