I figured out a fix. Uninstalled Dbx on PC; Used phone's Dbx CONNECT link to reinstall Dbx on PC with all the files in order as on the phone. . . .

7 months agoHi sorenwest, you can sign out of the Dropbox account in the desktop by following these steps.
Afterwards, you can sign back in with the correct email address, and the files will then sync to your machine.
If you want to delete the other Dropbox account entirely, make sure to log in to that account on the Dropbox site, and then follow these steps. Please note that deleting the account is permanent, and no files can be recovered once completed, so please ensure that you're signed into the unwanted account on the site when doing the deletion.
