I keep getting a request from windows to install a Dropbox Update, but nothing happens.
I am using Windows 10 [upto date]
I keep getting a request from windows to install a Dropbox Update...... when I agree nothing happens and the request comes again later in the day.

3 years agoHi beastie, have you changed the UAC settings on your machine to be more sensitive?
Did you install the Dropbox desktop application with admin privileges by following these steps?

Thanks for your help I have Dropbox 166 4 2920 already installed which I think is the uptodate version.
I have adjusted the UAC and then set back to my normal setting 75% I hope it has fixed the problem.I will let you know if Dropbox is still trying to update
