    still getting this Avast warning and still will not open using the icon in the start menu or the taskbar

    FYI, this only happens when opening Dropbox, all the other online apps appear to be opening just fine.

    Guess another note might be helpful,  Both the iPad and iPhone ios apps for dropbox mobile apps appear to be fine.

    It's also happening when logging into dropbox vie the web using the firefox browser

    Hey tshayes-8580, have you tried whitelisting Dropbox or removing it from Avast's blacklist, to see if that helps?
