Missing Dropbox icon from the menu bar after reinstalling the Dropbox desktop app on my Mac

I have reinstalled dropbox: the desktop folder opens but the icon does not show in the taskbar and therefore i cannot reset selective sync  MacAirbook MacOS 15.5 (24F74)

    after reinstalling and restarting and choosing the new option to move it to a new location it seesm to be back again
