My Business account is eligible for File Provider on my Mac, but my Basic account isn't.

To begin with: is the macOS 15.5 device the one you use with your Basic account?
Is your Dropbox folder located on your internal or an external drive? Also, approximately how many files are you syncing on your computer when using your Basic account?
As for the File Provider transition between your Mac and Windows device, it shouldn't cause an issue. The syncing process and migration should be seamless. However, if you notice anything we're always here to help.
