My external drive was disconnected while backing up, and now I can't resume the process.
I started a backup with an external drive, but it was accidentally disconnected in the middle of the backup. Now, Dropbox says it's a complete backup and is not. When I plug in the drive, it's not recognized. I have restarted my computer. I have restarted the Dropbox application. I have plugged it in and unplugged the drive.

As a first step, can you check your backups page online, to see if your external drive appears as active and connected there?
Also, can you hover over your Dropbox icon locally on the device, and let me know what the sync status of the app is and which version you're currently using?
