Hey autosciz, this doesn't seem possible, since the mobile app can only receive notifications in regards to your quota, security codes for the account and files/folders being shared with you.
They don't include content that was simply added to your account. However, your comments on this have been quite helpful, and I will do everything I can to ensure that your voice is heard.

2 years agoHey @autosciz, let's jump right into this!
If I understand this correctly, it sounds like you wish to receive a notification on your mobile app when a file is added to a folder that you follow, right?
Just to make sure we're on the same page here, it sounds like you're using the same Dropbox account when using your desktop and mobile app, is that correct?
In this case this wouldn't be possible. Also, push notifications on the mobile app occur for shared folder invitations, and when links are shared with you. However, I'll forward your feedback to the appropriate areas so we can continue to improve.
I hope this helps!

If I login to the android app under a different account, will I then get a push notification?
