Random Dropbox folder after installing desktop app
I installed the desktop app, but when downloading files the computer will create a random dropbox folder for the downloads.

Can you please send me more details on the Dropbox folder you’re referring to? A screenshot would also be great.
Are you referring to the local Dropbox folder that should be created after logging in to the Dropbox app, and which syncs your files?
Is there any chance you’ve backed up your Downloads folder to the Dropbox app, and it’s been moved over to your Dropbox account instead of its original place?
Let me know.
