Slow sync issue after updating the desktop app to v210.4.4854.
Ive got an issue with the upgrade. Anyone else have the same problem? Slow in sync, VERY slow in making the connection and very useless box that DOES NOT tell me which files it does'nt not recognize.
There isn't a solution. The sync is slow and incomplete files are not shown on any screen, even if you have the ORIGINAL file (and you can see it) on an external drive. I will have to either seek a new computer OR find another provider.
I now have 212.4.5767

Could you try updating to the latest version of the app from this page directly and let us know how it goes Road_warrior?

Can you clarify and send me a screenshot of the app's current syncing status Road_warrior?

I am not part of a network. I am a computer and all my colleagues use Dropbox (since 2017) to link into assignments and then logging out afterwards (I mentioned this and now you have a mechanise for this!)
Dropbox starts automatically on sign on on my comupter. After that, I can see what it is doing on 'Show hidden icons" and I can see what Dropbox is doing.
I don't think this answers your question, but my support since 2017 has survived!

Sorry, Road_warrior, I meant your initials/profile pic, that you see when clicking on your Dropbox icon.

Not sure what you mean by 'my avatar'. I don't think I have one.

Do you see the same thing if you click on your avatar and then on "view sync issues"?
