There is only 1 shared excel file we are using that is on the dropbox app. We haven't tried adding another word/excel file to share. OS version is macOS monterey version 12.5, while the excel is version 16.72

3 years agoCould you try testing this with another new test Excel file, just to see if the Badge opens up on its own?
In the desktop preferences, is it set to always show, or only when others are present?

Just an update: I tried creating a new excel file and shared it with the teammates, and the icon still doesn't appear on the righthand side of the excel file

Hi ksl0588, sorry to jump in, but I wanted to mention that you should be able to find the Dropbox Badge options in the desktop app's preferences, under the General tab.
Could you take a look and let us know what you find?
