The desktop app isn't compatible on Mac Sonoma 14.5?

Hi,

I upgraded to Sonoma 14.5 and then the icon disappeared from the upper list and it says "the system doesn't support Dropbox". I tried to download the App., but it doesn´t work. Strangely enough it worked with Sonoma 14.4 (!).

Can you pls help?

Thanks!

  •  Hi,

Thanks for the swift reply. Actually now it told me that it was too many computers (>3). Maybe that was also the problem yesterday, but the error message was different.

So it seems to be explained and solved!

    Best wishes,

    Kristian

Thanks for the screenshot galtieroussel36 - much appreciated.

May I ask if you've granted Dropbox full disk access as outlined here?

Hi Walter, yes, I have granted access to Dropbox in my security and confidetiality line. Any other ideas? It's still not working. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for clarifying that for me, Cristina.

Do you happen to be running any security software on your computer that might be causing issues, such as antivirus, firewalls or VPN/proxy settings perhaps?

Also, if you're on the Basic plan, have you ensured that you're not hitting your device limit

Hi Walter, thanks for your swift reply. None of that on my Mac. And I have dissociated the other two computers, to make sure that it will work. It doesn't. It's frustrating, I have been using Dropbox these past years and it really changed the way I am working. If you have other ideas, I'd be happy to try them.

    Thanks again,

    Cristina

Thanks for the additional information, Cristina.

In that case, may we reach out via email to have a further look internally at this point?
