The middle mouse button scroll isn't working in the File section of Dropbox.

Scenario:  Android Samsung S8 Tab in DEX with mouse.

Middle button scroll works perfectly anywhere but in the file section of Dropbox.

In Home, Photo and account section of dropbox the middle mouse button scrolling works.

In file section it is not.

Seems like a bug to us.

Any take?

Hi Kate B.6! If you still experience the same behavior on your new Chromebook, please provide us with the info Walter asked for previously, and we’ll be glad to assist.

Hey Kate B.6 - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

Can you please clarify if you're using the Dropbox mobile app on your device or just a web browser to do this?

Have you ensured that the middle mouse button scroll is working normally on other sites or apps?

Any additional information is more than welcome!

Hey Patrick S.24, thanks for the info!

It might sound trivial, but have you tried clearing the app's cache (you can do this if you access our app, go under Account, and then click on the gear icon on the top right)?

I'd suggest that you uninstall, and reinstall the app too.

If this doesn't work either, I'd be happy to send you an email in order for us to have a closer look into this.

    Hello Megan!

Yes indeed using the dropbox mobile app on Android.

The behavior was alway there as far as I am concerned.  I use this for a few years, but I believe this is an annoyance that should be fixed by now.

I indeed restarted the app or the tablet and installed the latest beta from feb 18th: 414.1.2

Before you suggest I press CTRL key while middle button scroll with the mouse, it does not work.

The funny thing really is that scroling does work in your app in any other context than being in the file section, which is the very place where it is needed most.

    Cheers!

    Pat

Hey Patrick S.24 welcome to our Community!

I'm guessing you're using our mobile app on your device, right? If not, feel free to correct me.

Do you know approximately when this behavior started? Also let me know the version of the app you're using on your end.

Have you tried restarting the device at all?

Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!
