Under startup apps I have 11 entries under Dropbox. Why?
Why is dropbox running so many things at startup?

3 years agoHi seamusvibe, when the Dropbox desktop application launches, there are several processes that are run to allow the app to function as it should.
This would be normal behavior for there to be more than one Dropbox process for the app.

4 launches that have a high impact on startup, 4 mediums, and 3 lows, seems excessive for 1 application. I only have 11 other things launching and when compared to those apps, including similar apps to Dropbox, they do not have the same startup impact. If that's how it is, that is how it is. I'll just keep it disabled until I want to use it.
