Upgrade your browser to use Dropbox

I tried to log in to the promotion 20GB Dropbox by Dell but I received this message once I clicked right button on the dropbox icon on my Windows 10, which is as follows:

Upgrade your browser to use Dropbox

Your current browser is not supported. We support the latest versions of the following browsers:

  • Edge
  • Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Safari

I also clicked each browser and installed its latest version, but still I have failed to see the sign-in option.

Hey superJames, sorry to jump in here, but would it be OK if we reached out via email to have a  further look internally?

If so, please respond from the Community profile that's associated with the account and promotion at hand and we'll take it from there.

I'm getting this error on my Windows 10 machine. Everything has been updated, including any of the browsers I use. My default browser is Vivaldi, but I have changed it to Chrome in hopes of solving this issue. I also use a Windows 11 machine that uses Vilvaldi and did not encounter these issues in setting up selective sync on the windows 11 machine.

What do I need to do to solve this issue.

Yes, please do.  One additional piece of information. On Windows 11, the Dropbox Business app was downloaded and put into place. On the Windows 10 machine, I attempted to download and install the Dropbox Business app, but Dropbox defaulted to installing a version that was not the Business Version. Is it possible that the problem could be the fact that there are two separate versions.

So again, the issue is that the Windows 10 version will not allow me to select what folders to sync.

Hi Stevie D, what browser and OS are you currently running on your machine?
