What will other users do without Dropbox Passwords?
I've been using the Dropbox Passwords on my computer and phone and not sure what I'm going to do without it! What are other Dropbox users going to do now? I'd welcome any suggestions.
Thanks for your helpful replies, I've decided to use 1Password but I'm upset that I now have to pay for something that I was already paying for and worked very well

TrendMicro Password Manager doesn't have a cost. We've been using worry free small business and it's licensed with that. merely $15/yr for general users

Hi reneeb17,
I appreciate the feedback and the inconvenience caused by this. I've also passed your feedback about the Passwords deprecation to our team.
Let me know if I can help in any other way.

I too am not impressed about having to pay for another service. First it was dropping the Dropbox Capture & now the Dropbox Passwords, but I haven't seen a reduction in my fees. I'm hoping the new features will be ones I can utilise because I don't use anything else now but for saving my files in Dropbox. I might have to use 1Password but I'm in Australia & will have extra fees for the money conversion.

I will move all my passwords and my files to another service - probably Proton. I am tired of Dropbox. They haven't provided any new useful features in ages. Instead, they have continued to remove services: Photos, Password, Paper, etc.

I also assume that there will be a reduction in fees to go along with the reduction in service. Or, rather same as when Carousel was removed - nothing

As it will be another cost and Dropbox is already expensive in itself I'm searching for other solution for my files and passwords. Proton Unlimited (with Pass, Mail, Drive, VPN) seems a good offer with a lot of built in privacy and security.

Hi Susan S, thanks for your comment here.
First, I wanted to say that we appreciate your feedback and we'll make sure to log it accordingly.
Regarding Dropbox Passwords, I wanted to provide some clarifications and if you have any more questions, feel free to get back to me!
So, Dropbox Passwords is a standalone feature (a mobile app and a browser extension) which you can use to store passwords from other services, apps, credit cards, etc.
It does not affect how you manage your Dropbox login or password; you'll still be able to log in to your account and reset your password as normal.
I hope this helps!
