'Your post contains invalid HTML' when inserting a hyperlink to a Dropbox Community reply

Regarding this forum, I get an error message "Content Not Published Your post contains invalid HTML. Remove the following invalid tags before publishing: a, a (class), a (data-lia-auto-title), ...

Sure! I was able to make the post, there was just sort of a hang-up where any attempt to add a hyperlink appeared to result in the error. I ended up having to copy/paste the body text into a freshly reloaded form without using the hyperlink feature:
