Daily DbxSvc ID 281 causing multiple daily bluescreen of deaths
Hi All,
I am running Dropbox on Windows 10 and am experiencing daily BSODs, usually 2-3. When I open Event Viewer, I can see Errors for DbxSvc with Event ID 281. The event details are as follow...

Thanks for reaching out to me, much appreciated.
No errors that I am aware of from the Dropbox app. As for performance issues, none that I am aware of. There are no other events in Event Viewer that correspond to the BSOD.

5 years agoIf you're not on a Dropbox Basic plan with more than 3 devices connected, could you try an advanced reinstall of the app using the steps in this link?

Hi Jay,
I am on a Dropbox Plus plan. Two separate users spread across five devices - myself with desktop/laptop/mobile and my business partner on desktop/laptop.
I have just followed the steps you have provided with the advanced uninstall and reinstalled on my affected device. Prior to the uninstall I experienced two BSODs. I will provide you with an update tomorrow to see if I have experienced any further BSODs.
