Jay,
I'm having this issue all the time, it's very annoying.
I've contacted support, and I've disabled Finder Integration in addition to running these two commands.

Instead of telling people to "contact support" why don't you FIX IT? This has obviously been going on for ALMOST TWO YEARS NOW. If you want to know why you've been losing market share to GoogleDrive, THIS IS WHY.
FWIW I literally just uninstalled DropBox and ALL my problems went away. You're new 'integration' is a complete disaster. FIX IT.

I second that. I re installed system OS 3 times, restored from backup. ALL the time it was the stupid dropbox finder integration. FIX it instead of telling people that its somehow their system.
