Dropbox Tenancy Header Insertion
Dropbox tenancy restriction we want to check what all steps we have to do.
I am using modHeader extension to insert the header X-Dropbox-allowed-Team-Ids
having the team ID which isn't mine.
But on logging in through my account it's not getting blocked.
Is there anything else I should look into or have to enable/disable something to make it work??
Online I found from Dropbox help page that admin console -> settings -> network control we have to enable to make it work.
But I am not finding any network control under admin console -> settings.
I am logged in via admin account only.
Still not getting any network control there.
Please tell what else I need to check.

Hey npaul - thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to the Community.
Could you clarify what plan you're on at the moment for us?
I'm only asking because the Network control feature is available to admins on an Enterprise plan at this time.
Let us know more and we'll take it from there.

Hey Walter,
Thanks for your response.
I have one enterprise account. I'll check there once.
Can you please let me know how will we get to know whether a tenant is allowed or blocked.
What is the use case in the UI. Will there be any dialogue box or is there any other behaviour?
Please let me know.

Thanks for the nudge here npaul
Would it be OK if we reached out via email to have a further look internally?
We might need to have an expert have a look into this for you, that's why I'm asking.

Hi Walter
Can you just send me the screenshot what does the screen looks like when a tenant is blocked from logging into the account. Like for example my team ID is x and I have inserted the header having allowed team ID as y. So, my team account won't be allowed to login. So, what exactly does it shows in the UI when it's blocked. Some error page comes, or it redirects to some page.
Is it possible if you can provide the screenshot for the same?
Or if possible can you please share the header trace for the transaction which comes when the tenant is not allowed to login?
It would be really helpful for me for the same. - Jay2 years ago

Hi npaul, we wouldn't be able to provide a screenshot showing this information.
I'd recommend contacting the support team directly for further assistance on this matter.

Hi Jay, Walter
Roni here. I am also facing similar issue.
Sorry to bug in between the discussion. But if possible can you atleast tell the working scenario.
Like should we get some error dialogue box or error page or it'll redirect to something, etc.
Thanks and regards

Hi Team,
Roni here. Need help in getting the expected result in accessing an enterprise subscription account having team ID which isn't there in the allowed team IDs in the header. Will we get some block page or error dialogue box or some other behaviour is there.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks and regards
