Excel files don't open on my phone even if when I allow access.

Recently, after I open my excel file from Dropbox, it prompts me to "Microsoft Office Integration would like to access to the files and folders in your Dropbox".  I Key "Allow".  But it does not open the excel file.  Please advise.

Does it work without the workaround?

Would you mind sending me some screenshots of the steps you normally follow to do that?

    Hi

Until a few weeks ago I could access any of my dropbox files to open in microsoft excel app on my ipad but now the files won’t open in excel on the ipad.

After linking my Dropbox account to the microsoft account in the annoying pop up box, I can see the file in Dropbox in the browser but still not access the file in excel - this is no help because I could already see the preview of the file in Dropbox App, but that doesn’t help when I want to edit and use the file.

Has microsoft excel blocked dropbox files?

I can still open ms word files from dropbox ok on the ipad in the ms word app.

    Hi all!

I just wanted to mention that due to a recent update from Microsoft, you'll need to ensure that only 1 Dropbox storage account is connected at a time on your mobile device in order for the Excel integration to work properly.

We're actively working with Microsoft to improve the user experience with this integration.
