I found some old Boxcryptor files, but don't have the key. Are they encrypted forever?

Hey there,
I just found some encrypted files via Boxcryptor on an old drive and wonder if there's any chance to decrypt them.
I missed the part of downloading the .bckey file.
If I try to log in with my user on the website or on the app it says my user doesn't exist.
Is there any chance to decrypt the files or am I just too late and the files are gone forever?
Thanks for any help on that.

Ok, I'll try so. Thank you very much for that hint.

    Thank you for your answer.
I do have the user name and the password. The only thing I missed is to download the key file before they shut down their service - and that's the crucial part, I know.

Please reach out to support@boxcryptor.com. As long as you have the password, they should be able to help you.

Without that key and password they are unrecoverable I'm afraid - after all, that is the whole point of Boxcryptor.
