Thank you for your assistance.
Figured I would give you an update. Upgrading to ios 14.1 has fixed the issue.

I’ve had the same problem - but iPadOS only (works fine on my iPhone). Latest revs of iOS and iPadOS. The “turn it off in Files, reset, turn it back on” did not work - but reinstalling Dropbox did.
Was very annoying - was exporting my podcast out to Dropbox, only to be unable to upload it to my host. Ditto adding attachments in Mail.
But, now, all good - so suggest you offer both suggestions… since different users are reporting that one or the other works.

Hey jmeckler, sorry to hear about this.
Have you tried toggling Dropbox off from the Files app's locations and then back on?- jmeckler5 years agoNew member | Level 2Yes - I cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled and it didn’t work. I rebooted phone and it worked but it would lag after I attached a file via email. I rebooted once more and seems to be ok. I’m on latest app and iOS 14.6 on a 12 Pro.
I think this is a Files issue not Dropbox because I had same issue with other 3rd party cloud apps.
