Even if you don't change anything about it, it'll still be better than any email app/site that's available now in 2025. It was a mistake to kill the app. Make it independent like Protonmail, i.e. not reliant on Gmail. Steve Jobs said you are just a feature. Even in 2025, he is still right. Email is not going anywhere. It's time for Dropbox's solution to it. And trying to kill it was not the solution.34Views0likes2CommentsI can't edit my Paper docs on the Android app after the migration
After the last changing on the Dropbox paper App I can no more continue to work with my files on the phone . I want to migrate the files to an other App . When I open them in the Dropbox folder of migrated files it's impossible to open them . They say you can open the files only from a computer . I need to use the files on android. Is that a possibility to convert them on MD or txt or word files? I feel it's not fair enough to block the files .40Views0likes3CommentsUnable to open Excel files on Android Dropbox mobile app - Office login loop
Hi, I have a free dropbox account and have used it for years to store a few basic excel spreadsheets that I use daily. I have a paid Microsoft 365 account that I use on my android phone and lenovo laptop. For some reason the last few days, I am unable to open my dropbox excel spreadsheets on my phone. When I try to open the spreadsheet I get a log in page saying "Log in or sign up to Dropbox to link with Microsoft Office Integration". I log in using my dropbox user and pw and it just sends me to my onedrive. I have tried deleting the dropbox and 365 apps on my phone and re installing and logging in. I have tried to open the dropbox files by going into excel first and then trying to open the dropbox spreadsheet. Just always sends me to the log in page. It all works fine on my laptop, and after saving, my dropbox android app shows the newly updated spreadsheet. Dont know what has happened. Please help.8.2KViews4likes75CommentsDo you access your Dropbox content on other apps outside of the Dropbox app? Feedback appreciated!
Hi everyone, My name is Emily, a Product Manager on the Dropbox Mobile app team and I am here because I wanted to reach out to the community to learn about how you access your Dropbox content outside the Dropbox app. We are planning to make some improvements to the way Dropbox integrates with other apps and want to hear your feedback. Here are a few questions to get the conversation started: What apps do you use to access your Dropbox content (outside of Dropbox)? What types of devices do you use them on? (iOS, Android, tablet, etc) How often do you use these apps? (daily, weekly, monthly) What works about this set up? What doesn’t? Is there anything you‘d like to see improved from the Dropbox side? We understand that everyone's experience may differ, so we welcome all types of feedback, positive or negative. We're committed to continuously improving our product so your feedback will help us make it better. Thank you in advance for your time and input. We're excited to hear what you have to say! When using my iPad, I used to be able to access Microsoft .doc.x files in my Dropbox folder and choose to open it in Word. Now when I try to do so, I get a message that says, that it can’t open the file because it is “stored in an unsupported server location.” Can I get some help please?Solved147Views0likes8CommentsCannot open Excel files with the Excel app through Dropbox on iPhone
I use the Dropbox app on my iphone. I used to be able to open excel files in excel by using “open with - excel”. But now it sends me to a screen saying Microsoft Integration wants permission. I hit the Allow button (the only other option available is “learn more”) and it just takes me back to the list of files in Dropbox. I can never get past that. I used to be able to open them from the Excel app as well, but not now. What has changed and what can I do?Solved11KViews0likes32CommentsIs there software to stream songs from a specific folder (and subfolders) in the Dropbox mobile app?
I have quite a music collection saved on Dropbox in terms of files. Used to sync all offline to my phone but the library got too big to import all to my phones storage, ran out REAL quick. Is there a third party app with some library display functions showing the library of files I have in some specific dropbox folder (+subfolders) that I can stream from on the go, assuming I have some data connection ofc. Simpely put; dropbox contains files (that will not expanded anytime soon) third party app reads those files and indexes them accordingly playing from third party app streams the song on device I'm aware of latency issues or lack of offline access but that's not a requirement. Thanks in advance! Feel feel to ask questions if clarity is required.27Views0likes1CommentI'm seeing a weird exclamation mark next to Dropbox on Xmind on my iPad.
Hello, My Dropbox app on iPad is not syncing with my Windows 11 desktop. For example, when I open a mind mapping software that I use (Xmind) and try to open a mind map that I saved in Dropbox desktop: beside the Dropbox icon, there is a circle formed by two arrows with an exclamation point inside of the circle. I cannot find any information in Dropbox support files on this specific icon. I am guessing it is indicating some sort of sync issue. I would appreciate your instruction and help for this Dropbox newbie. Thanks much! DaveSolved87Views0likes14CommentsMy signatures saved on my iPad are not appearing on Dropbox.com and on Android
I saved two signatures on iPad and these are not appearing on my other devices. Are saved signatures supported to sync between devices or I have to create signatures in every device I want to use to sign my PDF documents?204Views0likes9Comments
