The CAPTCHA response was not verified successfully, please try again.
I was linking the dropbox account in boxcryptor.But while signing in i got the error "The CAPTCHA response was not verified successfully, please try again." how to resolve it?

I get the same "The CAPTCHA response was not verified successfully, please try again." while simply logging on to Dropbox (Firefox 121.0.1 64-bit on Ubuntu 22.04). No captcha ever appears. It just sits there while the lines move around the animated icon square.

2 years agoHi villebillie54, do you have any proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router settings that could be restricting traffic to the following Dropbox domains, namely the ones involving arkoselabs.com?

None of the above. I had no problems until about a month ago and then this happened. Wait... I just clicked on the shortcut Dropbox icon that I saved on the Firefox home page and it took me straight to Dropbox without even entering my login and password. Weird. By the way I have no problem logging into Dropbox.com when using Chrome or through my Google account on either Firefox or Chrome. Anyway, I found that there multiple ways to log in without worrying about using the Dropbox.com login on Firefox. Thanks for your reply.
