Unable to Save Password Edits on Android
The dropbox password app acts up on Android. I am not able to edit a username and password as the app is missing the save button. The only button you see is remove. Also the auto fill only works part of the time most of the time you don't even get an option for passwords to fill even though it's setup to do so. In addition half the time you aren't presented with the option to save new passwords. The app used to be great but lately things often do not work at all.
Sorry to jump in here, bpowers84, but have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the passwords app, to see if that helps at all?

Hi bpowers84, welcome to our Community!
You mentioned that this odd behavior happens on your Android when you're using Passwords. Can you clarify the version of your OS on the device, along with the Dropbox Passwords app version that you have installed there?
Do you notice this behavior on all the websites you visit? If you have any screenshots or other information that you can provide, that would be helpful.
Keep me posted!

I unfortunately don't have any screenshots to share at the moment. I will try to get some in the near future.
My main concern is I no longer have the ability to edit a saved password inside the password app. I have the option to edit, but no option to save the edit. - Megan3 years ago

Hi bpowers84, I see where you're coming from, and I want to help you get to the bottom of this.
However, do you think you can share some of the info I asked in my initial response, such as OS, and version of the Dropbox Passwords?
As for the screenshots, it'd be helpful for me, in order to have a visual and share them with rest of the team, in case we need to investigate further.
Thanks!
- bpowers843 years agoExplorer | Level 3Hi Megan
I am on Android 13, and Dropbox Password Version Beta 278.3.
Oh and sorry I can't take screenshots because of a security policy in Dropbox Passwords. Screenshots are disabled? - Hannah3 years ago

I deactivated Beta and was able to regain the save button. Thank you for the suggestion.
