Annual subscriber; my card expired. Your downgrade threat is unacceptable. Fix this please.

Oh!many thanks. My payment card has expired, and I am currently in another country, so I do not have the ability to replace the card and update my payment information immediately. However, I am on an annual Dropbox Plus plan that has already been paid, and the subscription is not due to expire for another 340 days.
I received an email stating that if I do not update my payment information, my account will be downgraded to Dropbox Basic. I do not accept this. Downgrading a prepaid annual subscription before its end date is unreasonable.
Please confirm in writing that my account will remain on Dropbox Plus until the end of my current annual billing period, and that no downgrade will occur during this prepaid term. I will update my payment method when I am able to do so. And please don't send those downgrade email again and again. Thanks.

Thanks for the additional information KJ1993 - much appreciated.
The email you received is just a heads up of what is going to happen if you don't update your billing information until the date of your renewal comes. Your subscription won't expire until the end of your current billing cycle as normal.
I hope this clarifies matters and please let us know if you have any other questions.
