I tried resubscribing from basic to Plus. I used the Dutch payment method iDeal for this, but AFTER the money was taken from my bank account, the site said something went wrong. Now the upgrade didn't go through, I can't contact Dropbox support because it still thinks I'm on Basic and the money is gone from my account? I think its ridiculous I have to post this on a forum to get an answer in the first place, but did anyone encounter the same? and how did you solve it? As the title says I was getting emails about updating my billing info about 2 weeks ago but couldn't update the info till I got my new card on Thursday. I changed the info there and then and have just received another email this morning and my plan could be downgraded to the basic plan. Bit annoyed that I’m not able to just contact support because I’m not a ‘plus member’, even though I am and have been for years. Recently moved back from New Zealand to the Netherlands, which is super annoying with the app store and this has been a whole nightmare in itself. You need to let all your subscriptions run out before you can change this, so I did. After waiting for a month for all my subscriptions to end, i still couldn’t change since apparently Dropbox still required me to pay 20,50nzd for, idk, the month of April, maybe May? it doesnt say. Did that. changed countries. Now my subscription is still not active. In the appstore under my subscriptions it says it ended 25th of July 2024, which is super weird, because Ive been using it and paying for it up until now, so thats not correct. I just already paid for this coming month, as far as I understand it, so why isnt it active? I paid for a Plus subscription. It said it activated but storage still says 6gb, and wont let me contact support because I doesnt recognise the Plus. it look surreal I am attaching some images. It says that I am already on Plus but I got 6gb and I am stuck in a Loop. I cant even contact support because this help support gimmick to get every buck from us wont let the normal accounts get help. So I've just seen my bank statement and noticed DB have billed me 3x in one month, twice on the same day, all with separate transaction ids. The kicker is though that I don't pay for DB, I use basic and it sits empty, not a solitary byte of data being stored. Having to rely on a labyrinth of self help articles and a chatbot that really doesn't provide any help is unacceptable. I eventually got a link to a form to fill in to raise a support ticket but nowhere obvious alludes to this link existing. Does anyone know if Dropbox has a sales team that we can actually talk to? I'm trying to decide whether to upgrade from a Dropbox Basic to Dropbox Plus, but have a question that I'm not finding the answer to and the AI bots are useless for this. I just paid for Dropbox Sign, but I see that Dropbox Plus includes Dropbox Sign (or at least something that sounds like it: "edit PDFs and get signatures", so I'm wondering if I can get some kind of credit for having already paid for a feature in Dropbox Plus. Ironically, in order to make this decision, I need to talk to someone, but the basic plan only includes chatbot, community and help center, so I'm in a bit of a catch 22.
