Does cancellation drop storage space immediately?
As there is no way to delete a credit card without providing a new one, that leaves me with no option but to cancel. I've paid for a whole year. Would my storage drop down immediately? Or at the e...

If you choose to cancel a subscription, your plan would return to a Basic plan at the end of the billing period (which would be in a year's time from what you've described).
However, you could try to update your billing information, so that you don't need to downgrade your account first, to see if this helps.
