How can I downgrade my Dropbox team plan to Plus without losing any files?

i want to downgrade from dropbox standard ( 3 users )  to dropbox plus ( 1 user ) - im currently using 1.6TB of space - if i follow the sequence below will this happen automatically or will i lose an...

Hello there, 

Helen from Dropbox here. Thanks for reaching out about moving from a Team Plan to an Individual subscription.
 
When you cancel your Team subscription, it will enter a locked state on the next renewal date.
You can then disbanded your team whereby you will be converted to an over-quota Free Basic account.
 
Please then upgrade your Free Basic to Dropbox Plus or Dropbox Essentials at your earliest convenience. 
 
When a team admin disbands a team, all team member accounts become individual Dropbox Basic accounts. All team members and admins get a Dropbox Basic account which contains their personal folder. Team admins receive a copy of team content, except for Replay and Capture team content.
