I'm being charged £9.99 for Plus, but I'm told I need to upgrade my Basic Dropbox account.
Question or Issue:
For the past 12 months, I've been paying for what I thought was the Plus storage. However, I am now getting the message that I am out of storage and need to upgrade from the free plan to the plus. My bank account is being charged £9.99 to the following: Dropbox*[removed per Community Guidelines]
I have no idea how this has happened and why I have been paying this sum for no extra storage
Can anyone help?

Hey loftylobster! Welcome to our forum.
Is there any chance you’re seeing this error for a second Dropbox account (under another email address), which has gone over-quota indeed?
If you use your transaction ID on our lookup page, do you see the same email address as the one linked to the Dropbox account you’re getting this error for?
Let me know what you find.

Hi there
Thank you - it seems the email account I had set up was different from my main email account - but I still don't understand how this account was not credited with the upgrade to plus, as I only have one dropbox account. and why I am now still not upgraded to plus. I have been paying £9.99 for 12 months now
I would prefer the payment to be credited to my dropbox account and be upgraded to plus - Megan3 months ago

Hey loftylobster!
I'm going to need some account-specific info in order to investigate further. This is why I just sent you an email, in order for us to have a closer look into this.
Reply back to me, and we'll take it from there. Thanks!
