My account is downgraded but my card on file got charged
I've had earlier Dropbox Plus from my institution, but I downgraded it to Dropbox Basic from 10/11/2025. How can I remove the card payment info from my account (I don't see any option to do it myself). I got message from card holder, that the card has been chargred on that day, but I have now info or receipt of that payment at my account's billing info. Is it still possible that the card would have been charged despite the plan cancellation? The description ID in the bill is [removed].

To be honest, we can't know unless we look up the transaction, so I just sent you an email.
We'll look up the info internally and figure it out there.
Just get back to me when you have a chance!

Hi Hannah, thank you for your answer. I tried that, and it asked me four last digits of the card, and exp. date, and when I gave them, I only got red text "Please enter the exp. date and last 4 digits..." Does this mean that this card payment is not related to my account?

Hi there, Paiviv, thanks for reaching out to our Community.
Can you log this transaction ID for that payment on this page, to see which account it brings up?
Is it your downgraded one?
Let me know what you find.
