Updating billing info
Hey guys absolutely NO option to update my card information. Tried desktop and app and there’s no way to update my information as I got a new card. Tried to upgrade my account but it only shows my cu...

11 months agoHi, to update your payment method on Dropbox, follow these steps:
- Log in to Dropbox:
Open the Dropbox website on your browser and log in to your account. - Go to Settings:
- Click your avatar (profile picture) in the top-right corner.
- Select Manage account from the dropdown menu.
- Access Billing:
- Navigate to the Billing tab.
- Update Payment Method:
- Click on Update Payment Information.
- Enter the details for your new card.
- Save Changes.

I'm having the same option. There is no "Update Payment Method" option when I navigate to the Billing Tab. I get a black scrteen that says "no payment of billing activity" and there are no other options. I really need to update my payment method. Please advise.

Are you sure you're signed in to the correct account?
Check your Plan page. If it says you're on the Basic plan then you're signed in to a free account that has no payment information, so there's nothing to update.
If that's the case, use the credit card charge lookup tool to identify the account you're actually being charged for. Sign in to that account and you should see an option to update the billing information.
