I am trying to subscribe to a plan, and I get this message instead of being able to sign up: Your plan and billing information are managed externally

Even though this issue should be resolved, please try upgrading again through a different browser or a private browsing window.

I too had a subscription via my Apple Id/iPhone and when I try to cancel the subscription and upgrade to my previously expired subscription plan, it says the same things i.e. Your plan and billing information is being managed externally.
I canceled the subscription on my phone thinking the browser would let me choose another payment method but it doesn't.
How do we reach your support team? There is no direct email where we can share our concern. This is ridiculous! It's not a free service after all.
Can you or someone please log a ticket for us all or share the direct support email ID and update us what needs to be done here?
I see this post has been 3 weeks old and nobody has found a solution to this and neither did your experts have recommended anything useful, unless I missed reading it.
Guys you need to step up!!!!

I am having same problem. Trying to upgrade to plus and getting the "Your plan and billing information are managed externally" error.
Have tried multiple browsers with cleared caches.
Would love some help!
