Dropbox Community rank notifications
I have my dropbox community notifications set up the way I want them - except that there does not seem to be an option to turn on/off emails telling me "You have earned a new rank in The Dropbox Community!". There is an unsubscribe button at the bottom of the email but it just takes me to My Settings: | The Dropbox Community where there is nothing about ranks. I have "earn a new badge" set to Never.

Appreciate the clarification russellan, this is really helpful. We're using feedback like this to help us make decisions on badges and notifications.

I got two this week, including one yesterday.
The page you linked does not have an option for turning off rank notifications. I have turned off badge notifications. I could turn off all notifications, but I want to receive the digest for the threads I am following. - russellan1 month agoHelpful | Level 5
oh, I've done this. But wouldn't it be better to make it a toggle?

Hi russellan,
Thanks for sharing this feedback. I just want to ask a few questions to make sure nothing our of the ordinary is happening here.
- How many new rank emails have you received in total?
- When was the last one you received?
- Have you tried turning off notifications via this link?
Let me know how you get on and we can go from there.

You could just create a mail filter on the sender, community@dropboxforum.com, and send them all to a folder (or trash). I only see Community emails if I need to.

I cannot see any way that they are significant, but let's see what they say.

Hey russellan - thanks for lettings us know about this.
I imagine the rank changes are significant and that's why there's no way to disable them, but let me double check with the team and we'll get back to you.
Thanks for your patience and let us know if you have anything else to add or ask in the meantime.
