How can I move my Dropbox folder to another hard drive?
I need to move Dropbox from my C to my D Drive because my C Drive is running out of space. I looked up the instructions on the Help pages, but they are absolutely worthless. They say that I need to...

My problem has been solved. The problem was that there was no useable Dropbox icon in the system tray at all--just a link to the Win Explore Dropbox folder. My solution was to completely uninstall Dropbox and then re-install from scratch. Voila, there is a different Dropbox icon in the sys tray. Now I can click on it and get a small settings window that enables me to move Dropbox to another drive.

Theresa, I have actually now left Dropbox for two reasons. The first is the high cost relative to a Canadian service. The second is that because my data was being stored in the U.S., I had concerns about the integrity of Dropbox security. Sorry. Best wishes.
