I can't change my account's email. It says it is already taken?!?!
I am trying to update my email to a new email address but I keep getting an error stating that my new email is already in use.
When I try to use the new email to sign into an account I am then prompted to set up a new account using my new email.
How do I fix this?

What happens if you try to reset the password using your new email?

This is what it says, but I never get an email.

Check you have added no-reply@dropbox.com to the safe sender list. Also look in Junk.

Hey Cris2u06, let's jump right into this!
I think I'd like to investigate this internally if you don't mind. Can I send you an email to your Community-linked email address, in order for us to have a closer look into this?
Keep me posted!

I'm having the exact same problem. I'm absolutely sure I didn't create a Dropbox account with the new email address, and I'm experiencing everything that Cris2u06 is experiencing. I'm absolutely sure because I use password managers and I have good memory.

Megan of course, I don't mind if you investigate my case. In fact, I'd be very grateful if you did, because it's causing me problems.
