I want to create an account for a board with up to ten members, but already have an account....

I have installed Dropbox for personal use on my Macbook, but now I want to have a separate account for a group of 10 people, a board for a non-profit organization.

The license will be billed to the organization itself, rather than me.

How would I keep the two accounts separate on my computer? Will there be a second icon on my screen?

If and when I leave the position as the chairperson, can I transfer the admin role to someone else?

Hi TheSwedishKing, thanks for messaging the Community!

Are you planning on sharing the credentials for a single Dropbox account to the ten users, or will this be a Dropbox Business team, with each user having their own license for the team?

This will help me to assist further!

    Hi!

I will act as admin and the other members will (most likely) only have read access.

Could you clarify what that means exactly? Are you going to be using shared folders, or having them login to your account?

Currently, the only method to have two Dropbox accounts syncing in the Dropbox desktop application at the same time is for one account to be a Dropbox Business account, and the other a personal account.

I want to set up a new account for the board with a generic username [Removed as per Community Guidelines] with one person being admin and the other being able to log in with read access.

I already have a "personal" account [Removed as per Community Guidelines] where I have granted rights to read and/or wright in a "sub-folder" for certain personal friends.

So in essence I need a second "license" that will co-exit with my personal one.

    Make sense?

What you're looking for isn't currently available with Dropbox. Additionally, you can't have an admin of an account and another user to only have read-only access.

Sharing an account would be a violation of the terms of service, and can result in your account being terminated.
