Missing options in sync tab of my desktop app
Hi
I have Windows 10 Enterprise installed on my computer and newer version of Dropbox. Following options are not available in my dropbox preferences while 2 of my colleagues have it.
I already tried to uninstall/install Dropbox and have already up to date windows but still not showing. Can someone help?
Regards
Hanif
Hi Hanif01, how are you today?
Can you let me know more, in regards to the app's syncing status, and how long it's been like that?
Keep in mind that you can adjust the app's bandwidth, by following these steps.
Keep me posted!

Hi Hanif01, let's take a look!
The screenshot you attached here, is what your colleagues see under the app's preferences, right? Can you also send me a screenshot of what you see on your end, under your Sync tab?
Also, which version of the desktop app is installed on your device currently?
Keep me posted!

Hi Hanif01, thanks for your speedy response!
You mentioned that you're part of a team, so it sounds like your admin might have disabled that feature for you. Have a look into this Help Center article.
Would you be able to check with the Team's admin, and let me know how that goes?

Hi Hanif, I hope you don’t mind if I jump in here, too.
Can you let me know what type of screenshots do you need?
Is there a part of the Help Center instructions you’d like us to further explain?

Hi Nancy
First of all thank you for helping me/us with the issue.
Our company's main goal is that our users PC's/Mac must not sync local disc with Dropbox. Otherwise users local disk will get full and the whole point of storage large files in to Dropbox will be gone.
Our company have the enterprise license of Dropbox.
Most of our PC's are installed with windows 10 64bit and when we try to install Dropbox application on these computers we gets the following functions or choices
And we would like to have the following function or choices to appear in the application
If we re-install a computer from the scratch then we gets the following choices when we try to install Dropbox
So how can we get the choice "Let my admin manage this setting" on those computers which are not freshly OS installed?
Thanks again and have a nice day.
Regards
Hanif

Hey Hanif01, sorry to jump in here, but would it be OK if we reach out via email to have a further look internally at this point?
