Option: Make available offline no longer available in context menu
Hello, I have all my files online only, but when I need to work with them I usually right click the folder and click 'Make available offline' but that option is gone since the last big dropbox update...

Hi, thanks for you quick reply. Shortly after I posted I found this thread that seems to solve the problem for now: https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Create-upload-and-share/I-can-t-see-any-sync-icons-next-to-my-files-in-my-Dropbox-folder/m-p/366686/highlight/true#M30585
Sorry for the inconvenience.

3 years agoThanks for this abbipress.
Can you please confirm that you've also restarted both the Dropbox app and your computer ever since this started happening?

Hey abbipress, sorry to jump in here, but could you try the latest version of the desktop app from this page and let us know if this persists?
If it does, I'd appreciate a screenshot of the options you get when you right click on your files in the Dropbox folder.

Hi sorry I moved last month and haven't been able to try this out. I just downloaded via the link you sent and I'm still having the same issue. It's very possible that I had synced all of my files at one point and then changed what I was syncing which cause this maybe? Because it's just so weird to me that this entire folder except for the 'instrumental' file is available, but the instrumental version is 'online-only'.
There's no option for me to download, even when I go on the browser version it doesn't appear in the original folder. Do I need to change my selective sync preferences? I really want to wipe my entire computer because these file sync issues are so confusing and complicated in my finder now, but I don't want to lose everything:(

Hi from me as well, abbipress!
From what I can see, it looks like you’re missing all Dropbox options from the dropdown menu. Do you see exactly the same thing if you right click on the rest of your files, as well?
Can you follow the accepted solution provided here, and let me know if you see any difference afterwards?
