The web page does not open when one click on the icon.

Hello, I have the problem as described. The Dropbox web page does not open when clicking on the icon at the top of the desktop menu bar ( selection option ).   My browser: Firefox 115.2.1esr (64...

    I have changed the default browser to Google Chrome as a test. With this setting, Dropbox works. So there seems to be a problem with Firefox ESR.

All Dropbox does is save a file to your local drive and tells your computer to open it. It has no control of the process beyond that. I'd point to Firefox ESR being the issue, since it's working as expected in Chrome, and not Dropbox.

 

Side note, it works fine in Firefox (not ESR) on Windows.
