Dropbox captcha error
Your browser appears to be blocking dropboxcaptcha.com, which is required for authentication.
I ran a scan on my computer, and performed the following:
- restarted the computer
- cleared the cookies/history
- tried in incognito mode
- disabled the firewall temporarily
- tried in different browsers
- made sure pop ups are allowed in the browser
- Allowed cookies to be run on the site
- ensured the browser was up to date (Using Chrome)
I keep getting this error and am unable to log into Dropbox

This new Captcha is terrible - I could not login to my Business Dropbox account from Chrome. Multiple attempts wasting time each time, it reports I have passed then asks me to try again - Totally frustrating. You've give me a good reason to start the move to OneDrive.

This is absolutely ridiculous. It also makes me want to look for alternatives to Dropbox.

I thought I would try the game once more. I got all six tests correct with the person in the correct seat, yet I was told that I had failed.
how long can it take for a Dropbox to either get this right or abandon these stupid tests. I am now looking to move to a different site.
After so many complaints why had Dropbox done NOTHING to resolve the issue?

I finally got back into Dropbox without having to do these puzzles.
It took me ages to find their email support at dropbox dot zendesk dot com - sheila a.19 months agoHelpful | Level 5
It now appears that other sites are doing similar puzzle like login checks for humanity.
eg Facebook now have a 3 dice match. Again the issue is actually recognising the matches as the shapes on the dice faces are not clear and on the matches they change orientation and change in intensity of black/grey/white. Never mind the number of times you have to do this.
Also the audio options for identifying tunes with birdsong or drums are just as difficult to those of us musically challenged.
I've lost count of how many clicks it now takes to login in .
How anyone with any cognitive impairment can do this is beyond me!

It is now a couple of months since I posted about the fact that whether I attempted the visual or audio puzzles to access Dropbox I was always told I had failed.
I tried again today and got 9 of the 10 people moved easily but the 10th one could not be moved to the appropriate chair. I tried the audio puzzle got all 10 correct and was told so but the to,d this was not verified so was denied access. Why on earth is this still an issue ? Why haven’t Dropbox resolved it ?

Hi John Bingley, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Could you try switching browsers to see if this helps?
Otherwise, you can try using incognito/private browsing mode without any extensions running, clearing your cache and even resetting your browser entirely.
Keep me updated with any progress.

What is strange is that sometimes when I try to log in I get the puzzles other times I get a request for a code sent to my phone. That system, the phone code, works perfectly well.
Today I used both Cortana and Firefox and for both I got the code request that works, no puzzle.
why do I not get the code request everytime. After all I signed up for that.
