  • Hi, To change the email address on your Dropbox account:

    1. Log in to dropbox.com.
    2. Click your avatar (profile picture or initials) in the upper-right corner.
    3. Click Settings.
    4. Under the General tab, find your email address.
    5. Click Edit next to your email address.
      • If you see Verify email instead of Edit, you’ll need to verify your email address before you can change it.
      • If you see an info icon (i inside a circle) instead of Edit, you’ll need to contact your admin to change your email address.
    6. Enter your new email, confirm email, and Dropbox password.
    7. Click Update email
      • You will receive a verification email to your new email address.
    8. Open the email, and click Verify your email.

I still need to verify my email and my work email has changed, so I can no longer verify the old email address. What do you suggest?

Hey strubels, thanks for reaching out to us.

Are you currently logged in to the account and have access to your files?

If that's the case, since you can't verify your email, without access to it, I would suggest downloading the files, and creating a new account with an email address you can access, to upload the files to.
