Solved

I am unable to login to my account with my email ID.

Hello,

I tried to log into my account and it does not recognize my email ID and asks me to create a new account.

 

Has my account been deleted? How do I find out?

 

All my files are on there, so I am very worried.


Please help.

    I was able to locate the ticket number, and an agent will be with you as soon as possible.

    BTW, this was a different (paid) account, not the one I am using to ask the question to the community.

    @Mark I have been using dropbox for years. All my files are on there. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

    Hey riptide344, let's jump right into this! 

     

    It might sound trivial, but is it possible that you were using your Dropbox account with a different email address? 

     

    Do you have any other linked devices that you can use, to check for your email address there?

    @megan Thanks for the response. No, I am a heavy user of dropbox and use my main email to access it. I just opened a ticket on your zendesk: 24025935, if you have access to that, details are there. Thank you.
