I can't access my email in order to get the 6-digit security code. What can I do?
I can login successfully, but needs me to check 6-digit code in email.
Before immigration, login dropbox never needs me to check 6-digit code in email.
After immigration, it needs me to check 6-digit code in email. (same computer)
My email account was disabled (long time no use and I forgot the password), I can't login to my email to check the 6-digit code.
I only want to login Dropbox without check email 6-digit code, so what can I do?
Thanks
It is very unlikley you will be able to access the account without access to either a device (mobile possibly?) with Dropbox installed already OR the email.

You will need to log a ticket with Dropbox while not logged in - even to here so try an incognito browser and use the option to get account support from www.dropbox.com/support.

Hey Tagri - sorry to hear about this.
Can you clarify if you have access to the email address that's associated with the Dropbox account in question or to a device that you had linked to your account in the past?
- Tagri2 years agoExplorer | Level 4Hi Walter,
My accounts are only for Dropbox, meaning they are not regular e-mail, meaning I usually write the e-mail in Dropbox and only enter the password, and thus I am able to log into my account. This problem occurred last November but after the update the problem was resolved. Currently, when I enter the password, a window appears in which it says(we sent a code to your account) , but since my accounts are for Dropbox only, I do not receive anything. Please stop requesting the security code by updating. - Hannah2 years ago

Hey Tagri, if I understand correctly, you have an email address that's used only for Dropbox, right?
What I'm not really clear on, is if you have access to this email address, but are not receiving the 6-digit code, or if you don't have access to the address at all; can you please clarify?

Hi Nancy! Thanks. I will try this later to day!

Hello Hannah,
Yes, I have private accounts for Dropbox only, meaning when I open the Dropbox application from my Android device, I only enter the account I want and the password, but since last August, when I enter the password, a window appears that a code has been sent to the email address I want to access, but as for your second question, I don’t have the ability to access the email that I wrote in the Dropbox application, so I cannot know the sent code, meaning I do not receive anything. I think the solution is to stop the security code by updating or something like that. - Megan2 years ago

Hi Tagri, we would need some account-specific info in order to investigate this.
Would you mind if I sent you an email, in order for us to have a closer look into it?
