I can't access my email in order to get the 6-digit security code. What can I do?
I can login successfully, but needs me to check 6-digit code in email.
Before immigration, login dropbox never needs me to check 6-digit code in email.
After immigration, it needs me to check 6-digit code in email. (same computer)
My email account was disabled (long time no use and I forgot the password), I can't login to my email to check the 6-digit code.
I only want to login Dropbox without check email 6-digit code, so what can I do?
Thanks
It is very unlikley you will be able to access the account without access to either a device (mobile possibly?) with Dropbox installed already OR the email.
https://help.dropbox.com/account-access/lost-email-access
You will need to log a ticket with Dropbox while not logged in - even to here so try an incognito browser and use the option to get account support from www.dropbox.com/support.

Hi, I used dropbox with my school email account which ends with .edu few years ago.
Few month ago, google removed all the emails that ends with .edu and made us make new gmail account.
I am trying to login to my previous dropbox account that was registered with my removed gmail account, but its keep asking me to verify with that removed account.
What should I do to access it?

Hey wok1909, thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community.
I'm afraid that without access to the email address, there's no way for us to verify your ownership of the account and give you access.
Do you perhaps have any devices linked to it still, so you can access and download your files?
You also recommend you contact your email service provider, to help you temporarily regain access to the email address.
I hope this helps.

I have an account with an old email address I cant access. I remember the username and password, but Dropbox emails a code for security .... to an email I cany access. I pay $180 a year for the subscription, but can't access it. So I go to the support page for help, but can't really get help unless I sign in with an account which has a subscription. I was going to just change the associate email address and continue using it. Now I'm just thinking I might just abandon all my dropbox accounts and start using OneDrive, it would be nice if Dropbox would offer support for these type of issues.

Hey Agent V, unfortunately, without access to the email address associated with the account, there's not much we can do to help you regain access to the account.
Can you take a look at this article, to see if you can find any helpful info?

I've been through the steps in the article. I was able to come up with the password on the account, now it sends a code to verify to the non working email. So I assume that there must be a way to cancel the account and make sure it never renews?
Thanks!!

Thanks for your reply, Agent V.
If you wish to cancel the subscription, we can help with that.
Can we send you an email?

Hi, previously I have no problem login into my drobox account. However, nowadays it kept prompted me a verification code sent to a number that does not belong to me. How can I remove this verification code to access the folder? I am the admin console.

Hi williana, thanks for posting here, I hope you're doing well!
This case might need some account-specific info, in order for us to proceed. Can I reach out to you via email, in order for us to have a closer look?
Let me know!

It seems like the only option I have at this point since the security model is short sighted enough no to allow any sort of recovery solution, now I will have to lose all of the information I have stored there. My email is [removed per the Dropbox Community Guidelines] This is allow me to cancel and obtain a refund for the subscription which just renewed?

Let's see, I just sent you an email, to see if we can figure out the access issue and we'll go from there.
Make sure to get back to me, when you have a chance.
