I can't log in to Dropbox neither with Google sign-in or my email via Firefox; I get an error.
When logging in with my Google account in Firefox, I get an error: "There was a problem completing this request." When I attempt to enter my email address, it says "Invalid email."
Yet if I log...

So I found a workaround: I went to about:support in Firefox to view the Support settings, and used the "Refresh Firefox..." option which deletes a bunch of saved browser data. After that I was able to log in normally.
I guess it must have been some cached thing somewhere in my browser, but I already tried deleting cookies. Maybe Dropbox uses some other storage I didn't fully clear out. At any rate, that got it working!

12 months agoThanks for bringing this to our attention, JessieArr.
Have you tried to clear your browser's cache, history etc. and to disable any add-ons and extensions you may have?
Certain add-ons and extensions can interfere with expected browser behavior.
Try to disable them, refresh the page and then try to sign in again and let us know what you see.
Thanks.

Good question - I have two browser extensions: Bitwarden and uBlock. I tried logging in with both of them disabled, as well as clearing all cookies, history, and restarting Firefox completely. No change, I am still seeing the error.

Thanks for the update, Jessie.
Can you try to reset your Dropbox password, to see if that makes a difference?

So, interestingly, that did work and allowed me to reset my password and log in. However I then tried to log out and back in, and got the same error. So it seems that password reset is working, but regular logins are not.
