I removed Dropbox from my iPhone and I can't find the email my account was linked to.

Hello, as the title said. I accidently unninstalled my Dropbox Apps and i forgot my email to login. I tried to search through my email but i couldn’t found my Dropbox account, Is there any way I can ...

Let’s see what we can find together. 

 

First off, was this a paid account or a free Basic plan? 

 

How many email addresses do you have? Have you checked their inbox (or even spam folder) to see if there are any emails from Dropbox there? If there are, then your Dropbox account is most likely linked to that specific email address. 

 

Let me know what you find.

My account was basic plan, I have 4 emails and I already checked all the spam and junk and couldn’t find Dropbox email that has my important files. I tried to login with Apple too turn out i have no account linked to my Apple. Is there other way I could retrieve my email address through my phone? I’ve remembered one of the files name and the folder name..

    Dropbox cant search user accounts for files or folders I'm afraid. 

     

    The only other way I can think of that you may be able to work out the email is if you ever shared anything with anybody - what email address did they get the files from?

      The problem is I forgot what email I used for registering my dropbox back then. Are there any solution for retrieving my old accounts linked on my iPhone or I lost my files forever?

        Without working out what the email address is, no. Simply put I'm afraid. 

         

        Hence why I said asking people who you sent files to what email it arrived from - they should be able to see that on their emails or account
